5 Steps to New Growth

Creating space to make room for what we want is something we need to be aware of year-round.

Spring is such a beautiful time of year. Thoughts and plans turn to warm weather outings and life gets busy. To make this time of year more enjoyable, here are five things to do to support new growth.

  • Declutter your home. Sell, donate, and trash all things that no longer serve you or bring you joy. This creates the space for new things that you love!
  • Declutter your purse or wallet. Don’t spend time digging through papers and old gum wrappers. Clean out and organize to make everything easy to find.
  • Declutter your phone screen. We download so many new apps and end up not using half of them. Create folders and organize your apps. Delete the apps you don’t use and free up space. If you don’t use an app often, change it so it only shows in your app list and not on your screen. This will save you a lot of time and distractions.
  • Sort and organize your bills. Go through your folders whether paper or digital. Get rid of old files. Use an app like Bill Tracker to be able to see all your bills in one glance.
  • Review your subscriptions. Companies make it easy to sign up for a reason. It is so easy to begin a trial period and forget about canceling the membership before the charges begin. Look at your subscriptions and see when the last time was that you took advantage of the membership. If you don’t use it anymore, ditch it!

Creating space to make room for what we do want is something we need to be aware of year-round. Many wishes that your spring is full of new growth and filled with joy.
